Quick Airtime Recharge

This is a service that allows all Stanbic IBTC Bank account holders to top-up their bank-registered mobile lines directly and instantly by dialing *909*Amount# from their mobile phones. The amount value is deducted from the Stanbic IBTC Bank account while the same airtime value is credited to the customer’s mobile line.


  • Dial *909*Amount#  on your Stanbic IBTC Bank registered number.
  • We will confirm the Quick Recharge details from account number, cellphone number, network and amount.
  • The phone number will be instantly recharged and you receive an SMS notification of the transaction.
  • Money is taken from your bank account in exchange for the value of the airtime top-up.

 

  • Quick Airtime Recharge is automatically available to all Stanbic IBTC Bank individual savings and current account holders whose phone numbers have been registered with us and active on our SMS notification platform.
  • Interested customers whose current phone numbers are not registered with us should go to any Stanbic IBTC Bank branch and update or register their mobile phone number for SMS notification services.

 

  • Easy, simple and convenient way of airtime recharge for prepaid and postpaid subscribers of MTN, Airtel, Etisalat and Glo networks.
  • You may buy any amount between N200 and N5 000 in any denomination per day. This is a limit set for security purposes.

 

Is this service available to Stanbic IBTC MobileMoney wallet holders?
Quick Airtime Recharge is only available to Stanbic IBTC Bank individual savings and current account holders whose phone numbers have been registered with the bank.

I do not use a smart phone; can I use Quick Airtime Recharge?
Quick Airtime Recharge is available to anyone with any type of GSM phone.

Do I need to have a Stanbic IBTC Bank account?

Yes; you need an active and funded Stanbic IBTC Bank savings or current account to use Quick Airtime Recharge.

Can I recharge for a 3rd party?
No, you can only top up your mobile phone number that is registered with the bank.

I have met all the requirements and I still cannot use Quick Airtime Recharge; why?
Please check to confirm that you have a minimum of N5 airtime and sufficient network signal. Then try again.

What happens if my phone or SIM card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Immediately contact us (please call 0700 (CALL STANBIC), 0700-2255-782-6242) to deactivate this service.
