This is a service that allows all Stanbic IBTC Bank account holders to top-up their bank-registered mobile lines directly and instantly by dialing *909*Amount# from their mobile phones. The amount value is deducted from the Stanbic IBTC Bank account while the same airtime value is credited to the customer’s mobile line.
Is this service available to Stanbic IBTC MobileMoney wallet holders?
Quick Airtime Recharge is only available to Stanbic IBTC Bank individual savings and current account holders whose phone numbers have been registered with the bank.
I do not use a smart phone; can I use Quick Airtime Recharge?
Quick Airtime Recharge is available to anyone with any type of GSM phone.
Do I need to have a Stanbic IBTC Bank account?
Yes; you need an active and funded Stanbic IBTC Bank savings or current account to use Quick Airtime Recharge.
Can I recharge for a 3rd party?
No, you can only top up your mobile phone number that is registered with the bank.
I have met all the requirements and I still cannot use Quick Airtime Recharge; why?
Please check to confirm that you have a minimum of N5 airtime and sufficient network signal. Then try again.
