What is Blue Blossom Account?

The Blue Blossom account offer to women, better and easy access to business finance. It aims to help bridge the financing gap for women in careers/businesses and promote women economic empowerment in line with the CBN’s Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles.

What are the benefits to customers?

Customers who sign up gets to have:

  • Zero CAM fee
  • Discounted fee of 0.50% on loan fees
  • Access to loan facilities at highly competitive rates

  • Branded debit card and Cheque book
What is the minimum opening balance?

The minimum account opening balance of N20 000.

What are the required documentations?
  • Only businesses with 50% or more female ownership structure would qualify
  • All account signatories, must be women
  • Filled account opening form
  • Valid company registration documents
  • 2 recent passport photographs of each signatory
  • Valid ID card for each signatory
  • Proof of residential or official address/ Utility bill
  • BVN of all signatories (for multiple signatory accounts)

What is C'Gate?
C’Gate is a solution which enables merchants accept payments via a USSD string. The payer effects the payment using unique merchant codes preset for the company. The payment is concluded using a transaction code generated by the merchant. The solution can also be utilized for payment on the Point of Sale terminal and via online web payment platform.
What are the charges?
Transactions via the POS is charged 0.50% capped at N1,000 only while the transactions via WEB is charged at 1% capped at N1,500 only
How does a merchant receive payment through C'Gate?
Customers would be able to initiate payment using an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) string which includes a transaction reference code (refcode) which can be generated via POS or Web e.g. *909*000*Refcode#
How will I know that a transaction is successful?
A receipt (or E-receipt) for the successful/failed transaction would be generated via the POS terminal or WEB.
