What it costs

This is a current account with an exemption from account maintenance fee if the following are met:

  • The minimum account opening balance is N10,750  
  • This account will be charged with a current account maintenance fee of N1 per mille if the minimum daily balance on the account is less than N200,000 (Two hundred thousand naira).
  • Carry out at least four (4) transactions monthly on the EOL (Enterprise Online) or SME App to enjoy the concession
  • A customer who does a monthly debit turnover less than N100m will not be charged CAM fee, while a customer who does above N100mn will be charged N1 per mille. 7.5% VAT will automatically be taken alongside the CAM fee. 
  • The cheque is not eligible to go through the Central Bank of Nigeria Clearing House. Accordingly, the cheque can only be cashed at the Bank’s Branches and or paid into bank accounts maintained in the Bank.
How to get it
  1. Complete registration documents from the Corporate Affairs Commission:
  • CAC certificate and status report for business name
  • CAC certificate, status report, and MEMART for Limited Liability companies
  1. A valid means of identification – Driver’s license, INEC voters’ card, NIN slip/card, or international passport of the signatories
  2. BVN of signatories
  3. Recent utility bill – not older than 3 months.
  4. TIN
  5. 1 passport photo of each signatory, and
  6. Download and complete the account opening form
  7. Initial account opening balance of 20,000
