A Virtual Naira Verve Debit Card is a digital version of the Verve traditional plastic or physical debit card. It is usually linked to an account where you can save money and it allows you to make payment for goods and services in ways like the physical plastic card.
There are two variants:
- Stanbic IBTC Virtual Card Variant One: (One time use) . The card is valid for three years if it is not used by the customer.
- Stanbic IBTC Virtual Card Variant Two (Valid for three years)

Can Business Bank account holders also access the NGN and USD Virtual cards?
All Bank customers can access the Virtual Verve Naira Debit Cards but only customers with USD account can access the USD Virtual cards.
Do different client segments have different limits?
No. All clients have the same virtual debit card limit.
Is Variant One automatically deactivated after one time use?
This variant is valid for only one transaction and expires immediately a transaction is approved on the card.
Are the USD accounts limited to cash only accounts or can they also be generated from inflow only accounts?
The Virtual Verve Naira Debit card can be linked to any individual USD account.
What is the difference between selecting the Verve or Mastercard option as regards limits or accessibility?

The Verve card can only be used for local transactions while the Mastercard can be used for both local and international spend. However, a customer who has a physical debit Mastercard cannot request for a Virtual Mastercard, so that customers do not exceed the international spend limit. A customer can have up to four Virtual Verve Cards with same transaction limits that apply to Verve Virtual Cards. |
