Account Reactivation Campaign Terms and Conditions

The Account reactivation campaign gives Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC (“Stanbic IBTC”) Customers the opportunity to reactivate their existing accounts via the Stanbic IBTC Quick Services Portal ‘Portal”, The Portal is a website/medium through which customers can access/send their request(s) to Stanbic IBTC electronically.

This Campaign applies to Stanbic IBTC Account holders with existing dormant Personal and Business accounts (“Customers”). To reactivate an existing account all Customers must complete the Account reactivation form on the Portal and attach the relevant requested supporting documents regarding the account:

  • Personal accounts: Valid means of identification (International passport, Driver’s license, Permanent Voter’s Card or National ID card).
  • Business accounts: Upload instruction / board resolution and ID Card of Signatories. Valid means of identification for the account signatories (International passport, Driver’s license, Permanent Voter’s Card or National ID card).

The Campaign shall run from the 1st of September 2020 to 15th of October 2020 (“Campaign period).

Customers who activate their account during the Campaign period shall enjoy below benefits:

  • Free Debit Cards for personal accounts: Personal account holders that reactivate their accounts and order a MasterCard Debit card shall receive a of refund of card issuance fee by Stanbic IBTC. (Please note that the cost of the card must be available in the personal account as at the time of the Card request the Customer will initially be debited for the fee, which will later be refunded by Stanbic IBTC).
  • Free local transfers on any of our digital platforms (Mobile App, USSD, Internet Banking) for a period of 1 (one) month from date of account reactivation. Please note that the cost of the local transfer must be available in the account as at the time of the Local Transfer request the Customer will be debited for the transfer fee, which will later be refunded by Stanbic IBTC).


The Customer hereby declares that they have read and consent to these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. The Customer by hereby applying for the Re-activation of his/her/its account(s) with Stanbic IBTC undertakes that the information given herein and the documents supplied are correct.:

Stanbic IBTC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any revised version will be effective immediately that it is displayed on the Stanbic IBTC website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of participating in this Campaign shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
