Mr. Eric Fajemisin ('Eric') was appointed as Executive Director, Corporate and Transactional Banking  with effect from 21 January 2021.  Until his appointment as ED, Corporate and Transactional  Banking , he was the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited and Head of Wealth Business in Nigeria.

Eric joined the legacy Chartered Bank in 1992 as an Account Officer in the Commercial Lending Group of the Corporate Banking Division. He has since worked in various roles including Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking, Head, Investments Banking, before he moved to Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited as Head, Investment Management.  He has over 30 years' financial services experience and a track record of delivering business results through broad and deep analysis.  He is strongly focused on client solutions that deliver returns and skilled at proactively focusing on business growth and development across the business value chain. He is an effective leader with strong communication skills. His key experience includes Business Leadership, Wholesale and Investment Banking, Investment Management, Technology Management, Corporate and Project Finance,  Business Development, Credit, and Financial Analysis.

He graduated with B.Sc. Social Sciences combined Honours in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and then acquired a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria.

He is a member of the Board Credit Committee.
