Yinka has held several leadership positions across the Stanbic IBTC Group, including Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, as well as Executive Director, Deputy Chief Executive, and Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank. Yinka was also the pioneer Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited and Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited.

Yinka has over three decades’ experience in the financial services sector across investment banking, retail banking, and asset management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Master's in Business Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has also undertaken the Harvard Business School, Boston, Advanced Management Programme (AMP), and the Global CEO Programmes at CEIBS, Wharton and IESE Business Schools.

Yinka most recently retired as Group Chief Executive at the Standard Bank Group (SBG), a role he assumed in September 2024 following his tenure as Chief Executive, Africa Regions Standard Bank Group.

He serves as Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Standard Bank Jersey Limited, Standard Bank Offshore Group Limited, Standard Bank Isle of Man Limited, Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited, Stanbic Uganda Holdings Limited and FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc.
