Mrs Remilekun Soyannwo holds an MBA from the Cranfield Business School, United Kingdom (UK), as well as a BSc in Biology from the University of Lagos. She is a qualified accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and earned a Diploma from the Financial Times (FT), UK in Corporate Governance/Non-Executive Directorship.

She has 30+ years of experience in Nigeria, UK, and the Netherlands, mostly at executive level, covering strategy and business development, structured and corporate financing, financial and management accounting/reporting/analysis; asset and investment management; project financing, pensions and risk management that spans a diverse range of sectors, including Financial Services, Energy (fossils and renewables) and Real Estate.

During this time, she as Chief Executive Officer of Shell Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrator Limited, managed and grew the assets under management for the largest closed pension fund in Nigeria. As Finance Director, she strategically led complex business and commercial finance operations for the largest deepwater operator in West Africa successfully; and as Principal, led and delivered the structuring and execution of acquisitions, divestments and debt financings and other forms of financing/restructuring across the Oil, Gas and Energy industry in West Africa.

Mrs Soyannwo is an experienced negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills who has built strong public and private sector relationships. She is a proven dynamic and empathetic leader who is recognized for her skill at leading high performing and culturally/geographically diverse teams to deliver business results in fast paced and complex environments.
